Notes
Acknowledgments
- Many thanks to Bruce Shelley and Rick Barbour. Bruce’s
Broad Creek and Straus lists and Rick’s extensive
documentation of CSPs and SAPs provided a great base from which to
work.
- I am, of course, very grateful for the John Wolf collection as
mounted in the Wolf Memorial inside Broad Creek Reservation
Headquarters. I spent many hours looking at it when I was on staff,
and I have managed to photograph at least some of the patches there
to fill holes on these pages.
- I owe great deal to the late Rob Dare for years of friendship
and trading and for help with listings and classifications.
- Thanks to all who have provided scans, photos, or patches over
the years. I am grateful to Rick Barbour, Bruce Shelley, Jim
Greenbeck, Mark Ripper, Dave Weissert, Jerry Egan, Mike Kelley, Dave
Bastien, Dave Bell, Steve Sylce, and many others.
- Scans of missing items would be gratefully welcomed. Trade offers
for items I need will be greeted with
great enthusiasm.
- All mistakes are mine; if you let me know what they are,
I’ll fix them.
Colors
- I have used “Gld” as an abbreviation for a yellow-gold
like that of the Nentico totem. Most catalogers would call this
“DYl” for dark yellow.
